ARTISTS/ BARBARIZ/
Eero Barndők alias Barbariz is a cartoon animator with painters education who got into electronic music coincidentally. He had experimented with computer music earlier but after he started to learn guitar during his studies at the university (he was taught by Ramo Teder, Pastacas, also a Kohvirecords artist), Eero decided to add some acoustic flavour to his creation. He uses guitars, electrodrums, synths, flute, accordion and vocals to mellow sometimes arrhythmic digital patterns. Eero's music is emotionally similar to Toshack Highway and sometimes even to Mogwai. Alike them, Barbariz isn't afraid to use noise and combine it with softer, pop-like melodies. What makes Barbariz's creation different is it's subtle scent of the Nordic melancholia.
